About Me

Graduate of the University of Northern Iowa School of Music, Tyler has had works for stage/performance performed in Canada, New York, all over Iowa, and in Romania. Percussion ensembles, piano, string quartets, and piano quartets, as well as avante-garde and serial pieces, are many of his favorite to write for.
He studied under widely recognized composers and performers such as Dr. Lathon Jernigan, Dr. Alan Schmitz, Dr. Jonathan Schwabe, Sean Botkin, and Howard Abel.
Tyler is currently a member of the Iowa Composers Forum. He also runs his own composition/production studio known as B26 Studios. As well as privately teaching piano and theory/composition.
