Are you of the Body?

About Me

Made up of former members of 90's Montreal Rock core band Flounger, we are most proud of the fact that nobody ever yelled "you suck' or threw anything at us during one of our shows (at least not that we could see). A little older and wiser now, we're producing our own music just because it's fun.

Musically, we are all fans of 1970's-1990's Punk music; this is still reflected in our songs, although this project has more of a pop simplicity to it than our former band. Favorites include the Descendents, Naked Raygun, Husker Du, Black Flag, Replacements, Dag Nasty, Minor Threat, Fugazi, Pegboy, Dino Jr., Ramones, SLF, the Clash and the Jam (but that kinda goes without saying), Uncle Tupelo, Pixies, Superchunk, Femmes, Mushroom Planet, Midnight Oil, nomeansno, Bad Religion and 4 Montreal bands of yesteryear: the Nils, Asexuals, Doughboys and Genetic Control.

In other areas, Sci-Fi and Comic book TV shows and films as well as Outer Space in general are major interests. The ones named Robert and Mark are both certified Star Trek geeks, as is our pal Chris Taylor who designed the Auntie logo. There's also the Montreal Canadiens (we are all still bitter about the departure of our beloved Expos), soccer, travel, and last but not least, eating and sleeping (Peter has 2 young children, so he especially enjoys the latter activity). As for Tommy and his drumming abilities, the guy is like a machine; we've never seen anything like it.

Speaking of comic books, the Superhero quiz below tells us that if Auntie Gravity were a Superhero, she'd be Spiderman, which is great because it just happens to be her favorite character. She is a little too pudgy these days to be walking around in sexy bitch Super chick wear, so she's relieved that the Superbabes rank a little down the list. Take the test yourself and see who you'd be:
You are Spider-Man Spider-Man
