Is there no end to your depravity?

About Me

The desecrated corpses of Edgar Allan Poe, Anais Nin, and the Marquis de Sade took part in a depraved menage-a-trois and Gaines Galloway was born from this darkest and most unholy consecration of the flesh. The baby Gaines fetus was then tossed in a chainsaw-bladed blender along with some of the devil's DNA and a few works by Poppy Z. Brite, William Browning Spencer, and Todd Grimson. Some damnable soul hit the "puree" button and the result was a rather depraved and wretched lunatic who had no choice but to obey his scribomaniac urges...

Greetings! My name is Gaines Galloway and I am a freelance horror writer, specializing in the morbid, macabre, and, at times, avant-garde. My lovely book is pictured below. For short stories, excerpts, and other ghoulish delights, please feel free to visit my official website.

About the Book:
Within these pages exists a world of sensuality and horror, a realm where the aberrant and the erotic combine to form frightening tales that will chill your blood and send tremors down your spine.

A young man makes a gruesome - and seductive - discovery after moving into his new home. A hustler is thrust into the darkened lair of a beautiful creature older than time itself. A middle-aged office worker receives a sexy phone call from an unlikely secret admirer with sinister intentions. And a young virgin, on her way to visit her sick grandmother, must enter a shadowy forest filled with terror...and temptation. All this and more await you in a story collection written especially for those who aren't afraid of the dark.

Yet another fiendish beauty who has fallen victim to my diabolical writing charms!

Bio-gore-aphy

I'm a lit-junkie. A voracious reader and lover of books and short stories. Since the age of three, I've known that I wanted to be a fiction writer and it has been a dream and a goal that has stayed with me ever since. I am naturally drawn to the darker, stranger things in life and have been a fan of serial killers since high school. I hate censorship, cannot stand close-minded individuals, and firmly believe that duct tape and arson are healthy obsessions. I'm a frequent patron of gory accident scenes, collect roadkill, and have been thrown out of the local cemeteries by police on a number of occasions. Judge me accordingly. I carry a notebook with me wherever I go. I am always reading something, as I find the texture of paper to be sensual and pleasing. I am afraid of ghosts and shiver in the dark...not from fear, but from the sheer potential for eroticism.
Forget New York publishing monstrosities that offer up a measly few thousand bucks for your paper-and-ink baby and allow your beloved novel to linger and die in a pile of dust on the shelf! I'm not big on agents, editors, juggernaut publishing houses, etc. I completely support self-publishing and adore the small press movement, as I plan on starting up my own small press one day.

I hate movies and don't watch television, as it rots the mind. People should read more. I am courting Death, though she rejects the flowers I send everytime. My heroes are some of the most depraved and creative individuals to ever walk the face of this wretched earth, depravity and creativity being two things that I closely identify with.

I'm an author, villain, slacker, cemetery creep, vampire hunter, werewolf, junk food eater, sleaze-lover, fiend, hopeless romantic, over-sleeper, insomnia sufferer, horrormonger, deranged prophet, and a cuddly cannibal. Love me accordingly.

Movies:

"Bram Stoker's Dracula" is the greatest movie ever made.Though I am not much of a cinema fan (I can count the movies I watch every year on one hand), I believe that the best films are those that are based on books. In all honesty, I prefer to read.

Television:

Meh. T.V. sucks.

"Reading takes time and the glass teat takes too much of it." - Stephen King

"T.V. is basically a brainwashing tool -- it programs us to accept certain beauty standards, to follow trends, to become enraveled in the lives of spoiled, stupid celebrities who are idolized, overpaid, and, ironically, usually drug addicts, suffering from one eating disorder or another, or abusing their fame to promote their silly, pretentious causes. Ban T.V." -Anonymous
