Tired of Dreaming is not your ordinary band. From its members to its origin, to its songwriting and influences, it defies the typical.The group began working on songs in the Fall of 2005, but it was actually as more of a studio project than a band. However, as material started coming together, its founding members (David G. Petersen, Jr., Dan Turgeon, Brian Dorn) realized that they had found a unique and addicting sound. A decision was made to bring Travis Wolfe and Justin Hunt into the lineup and start booking shows.The music Tired of Dreaming creates can be described as hard rock; however, there are many more layers to the band's sound. Its songs have hints of punk, thrash metal, and grunge, but the most unique aspect of the music lies in the production of it. In it limits are pushed way beyond the status quo, and the resulting effect is a listening experience filled with unexpected twists an turns.With a CD due out in October of 2007, a growing fan base, and its own niche in the music industry, Tired of Dreaming is a band with a bright future.
