FADED OUTLETS are a three piece band who play music ranging from "hard rock to coffee shop love." (Kolus/Allie Doyle). Heavily influenced by what has come to be known as "the Seattle Sound," the Faded Outlets draws influences from Classic Rock, Grunge, Punk, Pop, Blues, and even Jazz and Classical to form a unique sound.
Although the Faded Outlets take a great deal of pride in their recordings, the best way to experience them is to come out to one of their shows. They take the most pride in being a live band, playing real music, and hoping to share it with the people.

Faded Outlets first formed in February of 2005 after Andrew Namkung and Bryce Gourley met. The jam sessions that were being recorded onto a cheap audio-cassette, soon turned into the sound that is now know as Faded Outlets. In July 2005, the band release their first 4-track EP, "Smudge," which featured the songs "Caffeine" and "Smudge." The band stumbled upon their bass player, Jared Carlstrom, in early 2006. After passing the grueling initiation, which involved "Dave's Insanity Hot Sauce," the band was complete.
In mid-2006, the band played their first live concert at Studio Seven in Seattle, WA. They continue to love playing live whenever they get the chance. During the summer of 2006 Faded Outlets began work on their first full length album, "Radiowaves," which was released in September 2007. "Radiowaves" features songs such as "Backlash" and "Tired Of Clouds." After the release of "Radiowaves" the band focused again on writting new material and playing shows all around the Puget Sound area. During the summer of 2009, Faded Outlets began recording their sophmore full length album. This album will be released in late 2009 or early 2010. It will feature songs such as "Parasite" and "Edge of the Earth." The band is hoping to hit the road soon on a tour and continue to perform around the Sound.
Although they sometimes feel intimidated by the music "scene" the band sticks to playing the music they love. Their ethics are rooted in the punk rock way of a "do-it-yourself" attitude. The guys of Faded Outlets hope to build a strong fan base and deliver music that is real, enjoyable, and passionate.
