We also care about the environmental, social and ethical standards upheld by the companies that manufacture our clothing. We have done our best to choose companies that do not operate sweatshop practices and follow good ethical and social standards - Including Bella , American Apparel , Alternative Apparel , Continental Clothing Company , and Hemp Traders . American Apparel is known for its promotion of immigrant rights and “sweatshop free” labor policies and also incorporates environmentally friendly practices and also is also vegan-friendly. Their Brands include Classic Girl, Standard American, and Classic Baby. Bella is known for its excellent workplace standards and they attest to complying with all government health, safety, and labor laws. Alternative Apparel is known for its rules against forces and child labor, and its strict policy for harassment, discrimination and abuse of its employees. Continental Clothing Company is an Environmentally conscious clothing company. Hemp Traders is a company that is known for not using any child or prison labor in making their products.
EsteemED apparel is not only here to build positive body image but we are also here to help many chairities that are trying to help people with Eating Disorders. We will be donating procedes to several charities including National Eating Disorders Association [NEDA] , National Eating Disorder Information Centre [NEDIC] , Beat Eating Disorders [BEAT] , Eating Disorders Association INC [EDA] , Eating Disorders Coalition [EDC] , and Weight of Illusion , a forum for support for people with Eating Disorders.
The National Eating Disorders Association was founded in 2001 as a non-profit organization whose main goal is to provide education and support to those with or who are affected by Eating Disorders in the United States .
National Eating Disorder Information Centre was founded in 1985 as a non-profit organization that strives to get information out into the public eye about eating disorders in Canada.
Beat was founded in 1989 in the UK and they provide information and support for people who are affected by Eating Disorders.
The Eating Disorders Association Inc is a non-profit organization in Australia whose main goal is to provide support and help for those with Eating Disorders in Australia and New Zealand.
The Eating Disorders Coalition is an organization that wished to expand awareness, along with increasing federal support, recources and funding for Eating Disorders in the United States.
