I'm Darren, I was born on May 20, 1977 in Manhassett, NY I have lived in NY(Long Island) my entire life. The following is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...This is my story........ I don't pretend to be something I'm not. I have my own ways of thinking that may or may not differ from yours. I LOVE LIFE, and I love living it to the very fullest on my own terms and my terms only. I do not drink, do drugs, or smoke, it's my choice and the way I have lived for the 30 years I have been alive. I don't preach to anyone about it either it's just my choice. (you do your thing and i'll do mine). I enjoy the darker side of life I find it much more interesting and for some reason much more happy. I like money(don't lie you know you do too) I have come to realize that money is NOT the root of all evil in fact that couldn't be further from the truth. Money will buy you anything and everything you could ever want. (just think about it) I hope to have lots of it one day and will continue to work my ass off to get as much as I can. I have tons of self-confidence, and tremendous amounts of perseverance, determination, and drive. I don't believe in failure or in obstacles. In my opinion all obstacles were made to be knocked down and destroyed. I do not believe there is a place for negativity only positivity all negatives can and should be turned in to positives. I'm very straight forward and tell it like it is, and I take shit from no one. I don't follow trends or what's "cool" I'm just me. I'm not a wannabe I'm a somebody a leader if you will. I will not follow you but insted you will follow me. I don't believe in organized religion of any kind mainly cos they are unnecssary and hypocritical. I do follow my own heart and will and find the answers and strength within myself to overcome all. I also believe that if you can dream it, bust your ass hard enough and want it bad enough ANYTHING can be yours. Most of all I enjoy happiness and in reality don't we all just wanna be happy.I am absolutley madly in love with my fiancee Barbara, she has been my rock, support, insperation, and best friend for 5 glorious years. Barb is the greatest woman in the world in all respects. She consistantly gives me love, and support. She keeps me grounded and most importantly laughing. It's rare in life to find someone that is as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside, and I thank my lucky stars daily for bringing her into my life. I don't think any man is as lucky as I am to have what I like to call the absolute complete package. I love and respect her more than anything or anyone in this world she is my love and most of all she is my life.I have a Pug by the name of Mr Magoo(aka Boo Boo) who gives me more joy than you can imagine. he is a silly lil bastard who can be cute as a button one second and the next a complete mental case the next reguardless he keeps a constant smile on my face. He is beyond handsome and at times out of his fucking mind but He's my lil boy and I love him more than lifeI have some of the greatest friends anyone could want from my brothers in my band to my co workers to friends I have had for years I have some truly great people in my life who keep me going know matter what and to them I say Thank you!!!My family is great yet I won't paint you a picture of a happy home I come from a home filled with tons of damage and tons more baggage. It's a shame but its life. I will say that I love my Mother and Father eternally and have a better relationship with them now then I think I ever did. They are also 2 of the most determined and strong people I know who have taught me well and for that I will always be grateful Music is my life yes everyone says it and I know it's cliche but it's very much true to me. I proudly sing and preach the the word of HEAVY METAL and fly the flag of METAL incredibly high. I have been a METALHEAD for well over 2 DECADES(yes, boys and girls 20 + years). To me METAL is the ultimate form of music. Now don't get me wrong I enjoy many other types of music(See Interests) but Metal to me is the absolute top of the heap number one greatest single genre of them all and I'm proud to be a METALHEAD FOR LIFE.

I am first and formost a drummer, I have been in many bands in my career.Currently I am in the band KOROTORY(www.myspace.com/korotory)which is a straight up true Metal band with tons of groove, dynamics, and brutality(Think Pantera, Slayer, Testament, and Old Metallica mixed with Lamb of God, Machine Head, Merauder, and a touch of Death and Suffocation)I co-founded this band back in 1995. Winters Thrall(DUST)(www.myspace.com/angelwhore)A industrial gothic Metal band Think Rammstein, Type o Negative, HIM. I spent a brief period as a session drummer for this band I also enjoy doing session work when its available.

Beside drums I play guitar, bass, keyboards and yes even sing. I have been fortunate enough to share the stage with some of my favorite bands of all time including Death, Nevermore, Iced Earth, Behemoth, Skinless, Moonspell, HammerFall, As I Lay Dying, and Six Feet Under

I have some martial arts training I have studied Brazilian ju-jitsu, Boxing, Sambo, Tae Kwon Do and Muay Thai and was training for MMA Compitions but eventually gave it up due to lack of time and to pursue music full time. I'm not a tough guy or a bully but if you mess with the ones I love I'll put you down and that's a promise. I love all forms of art, all forms of humor and some sports.
