Gangalee is a shining star on the verge of groundbreaking changes pack with bass thumping production.Born and raised in the Bronx, NY to Jamaican decent Gangalee grew up on nothing but hiphop in school and the streets and reggae at home. Regardless of genre she knew she wanted to make music. Starting out early in the rap game she was given her first shot on a couple of DJ DooWop mixtapes. Then honing her skills as well as her style she later joined an all female hiphop group called The Gypcees. She now spends most her time in the lab recording songs for herself as well as others...Gangalee was featured artist on MTV series "PoweRgirls" they played "TheJam" off the SUMMER SAMPLER in episode 4. She has opened up for a variety of artists like EPMD, Wyclef Jean, Capelton, Jaguar Wright, The Roots, Talib Kweli & Mos Def (Blackstarr) Redman, & AZ, just to name a few. She also performed at the world famous Black Lily shows in Philly, NYC, and DC. Now, with support from the worldwide underground, from NYC to the UK heads are getting to know Ganga. Ganga debuted on AustrianHipHop Mixtape Vol 1 that is now circulating abroad from Germany to London.
