DJ MOR

About Me

Now we all know about the legendary DJs who've come from the borough of Queens. Jam Master Jay, Rob Swift, DJ Camilo, Roli Rho and countless others. Working hard to join those ranks we have DJ Mor representing Flushing, Queens. This DJ has been putting it down in the Hip Hop scene for over 10 years. DJ Mor is following his goals of representing this legendary borough the best way he knows how.
Since 1994 DJ Mor has continued to make headway as a DJ who throws down on the turntables. Getting his start by watching his brother, Mor couldn't help but try his hands at this craft. It turns out his hands didn't steer him wrong. Starting off making mixtapes he would only let his closest friends listen to, Mor received the support and critique he needed to continue his path. It wasn't long until he got his chance to be on the radio. As one of the DJs for The Original B Side show with host Musik G, Mor was given an opportunity at an early age to gain hands on experience. Managers George C. Strickland III, and WBAI onair personality Chet Jackson saw something in DJ Mor that only a select few were seeing and that was talent. DJ Mor has since gone on to blaze many trails.
As the former DJ for the Musik G & The Underground Army, Mor has represented his history as a Hip Hop DJ at many events at home and around the world. Getting his first taste of the overseas market in 2000 DJ Mor, along with The Underground Army(UGA), went on tour in Germany. While promoting their single "Tear it Down" & (B side) "Live on the Box", Mor represented how a true New York DJ gets it cracking while spinning for German airwaves and clubs. France, Holland and the UK are all countries who've Mor has had the pleasure of spinning for. Whether it's English, Spanish or any other language Mor speaks DJ fluently!
If you weren't able to catch him in a foreign country don't worry. Back home Mor has spun at numerous clubs and radio stations. Club Speed, Aria, Peppers, Rebar, Denial, Infa Red Lounge and Downtime are a few of the clubs in the NYC area Mor has rocked. He has also entertained customers at the Adidas Store, NYC and the DJ Honda Store, NYC.
DJ Mors' mixes have been aired on WHCR 90.3 fm and Sirius Satellite Radio. Mor has also co-hosted on the Wonder Twinz show on Sirius. Recently added to Hip Hop icon Davey D's team of DJs, Mor was also an official AOL Mixmaster. DJ Mor also has a number of mix CDs under his belt, receiving respect from his peers for showing true skill as a mixtape DJ. Mor has also been involved in the writing aspect of magazines as well. He has conducted several interviews for the Connex List Magazine. He has also contributed interviews to The Hook, and websites such as www.whomag.net and Delicious Magazine in Germany.
DJ Mor is currently working on new projects so stay tuned!!
