Noel

Noel's music is lush, evocative and introspective and can be classified as piano-based ambient pop. While some have noted similarities to artists such as Enya, Dido and Sara McLachlan, Noel’s sound is truly unique. She comes from a line of classical female vocalists and has had very little exposure to popular music. This lack of pop music “baggage” combined with her classical training has enabled her to create a fresh new sound all her own.
Noel’s debut album “Defenseless” takes listeners on a powerful emotional journey. It’s a tapestry of love, loss, fear and hope. Her otherworldly soprano voice and evocative lyrics flow over a mesmerizing musical landscape. Each track weaves effortlessly and hypnotically into the next, from the vulnerable “Defenseless” to the haunting “Prides Crossing” to the deeply moving orchestral hymn, “Requiem.”
While this is Noel’s first album release, her captivating voice has been heard by many in films and will soon also be heard in a video game. Her music inspired film composer Brian Tyler, who featured her vocals in The Fourth Floor (starring William Hurt), Jane Doe (starring Teri Hatcher), The Big Empty (Kelsey Grammer), and the Children of Dune mini-series. And currently Noel is lending her powerful vocals to an exciting video game project for a French game developer. The game is scheduled for release this fall.
