I am "A. S. Cobb". In addition to being a producer of live events (fundraisers, fashion shows, seminars, concerts, talent showcases, release parties, etc.), I am a Stand-up Comedian and a Poet/Spoken Word Artist. Former host of Poet's Jazz House every Thursday night, now located @ Sonny's Spot in Lemiert Park.
From all of the above, was born "Asc Me PR," my PR firm that focuses on promoting artists and events via the web, print, radio and television. I also handle Artist Development, which is helping to design and/or maintain your desired image. From press releases to full out press kits, bios, newsletters, etc.
I founded Brown Recluse Entertainment Ventures in 1997 and began to produce shows for local cable access television. Ahhh...Remember Hip-Hop Non-Stop (Phaze I) or TKO (Talent Knock-Out). No? LOL, well what can I say? LOL
What's my motivation? I am tired of seeing artists and events not get the exposure they need, desire and deserve. I am also tired of Big Business raping us on the charges for their services.
What's it hurt to ask? Tell me what you need and let's collaborate on ways to make it happen for you. Take advantage while my services are cheap...

I moved to the Bay Area (Hayward, CA) In January 2006 and hit the ground running. I am attending Chabot College in Hayward, so if you see me in Student .. Services checking my MySpace or in the Student Center, say "Hey." Look me up. I plan to transfer to San Francisco State University in the Spring of '08.
