About Me

Uncle Dave Huber is a native of Baltimore, Maryland who plays original and traditional folk/blues music. His sound is heavily influenced by the folk performers of the early twentieth century like Mississippi John Hurt and the folk revivalists of the early 1960's such as Dave Van Ronk and Bob Dylan. At his shows at local music venues, bars and clubs, Uncle Dave brings a host of plain-talking yet mysterious characters to life, telling the stories of America's illustrious past through the voices of backwoodsmen, cowboys, desperados, moonshiners, prisoners, and railroad workers.
