Click here to make your own!It was as a student in Hutchinson, Kansas, where Cityboy embraced hip-hop and also gained the name by which he is most popularly recognized. It was also there, where he teamed with Randy "Wat Wat" Watson, a fellow student interested in music and hip-hop, paired and formed the duo, "K-STL" or "Kansas to St. Louis." With the heavy support of their peers, they became an instant, local success. Cityboy used this impetus to form his own label in 1999, now known as Ganga Records.Back home in St. Louis, Ganga Records pulled together a roster of thirteen artists from both St. Louis and Kansas. It was the first home to the local group, "Slu Cru" as well as 106th and Park hall of famer, "Big Will." By 2002, Ganga Records had released two compilation albums, followed by, "The Life of a G," an album released with his brother. He then dropped his first, solo, self-titled album that grossed over 60,000 units sold independently.Cityboy is a renowned performer, with countless opening acts for major label artists, such as: Choppa, Mystical, Nelly and many more. It was in 2002 when he joined forces with long time friend and R&B sensation, Future Mic, to create the dynamic duo that Ganga Records encompasses today. Since the historic union, the two have collaborated to create a "GANGA" music that appeals to young and old, with the ingenious combination of Hip-Hop and R&B.
