He used to work a with a producer name DJ Dyreck D who had his own mix show at Sacramento’s number one radio station, KSFM 102.5. Derrick produced Davinchi’s first song entitled “Nuthin in Commonâ€. Derrick played the song on his mix show. Davinchi had received so many call inns on the mix show that he started to become popular. Soon after that he was introduced to Marichel Brown of the Royal Mixers, a local rap group with a modest amount of success.Davinchi has opened for Too Short, Spice One, E-40 and The Click. In 1996 Davinchi was featured on the Tribute to 2 Pac compilation entitled “Tribute 9-13-96â€. The project sold over 38,000 units.He also joined the Klosed Kasket Mafia, founded by Notorious Brown Boyz and the label DHX inc.. With KKM he performed on both of theire major productions, writing and recording on their hit CD, “Hell N Da Ghetto†and the KKM ..ary.He also co-produced his own project entitled “Born N2 Sin†with the help of Dyreck D and various other artist. Davinchi was the executive producer of his first album. This allowed Davinchi the opportunity to express himself and place his listeners in close touch with his heart felt emotions that he had developed from past experience.Davinchi has performed at various clubs, the state fair, car shows and he’s been in various music videos that have aired on television.
