The band Myselfson was founded in 2003 by eponymous lead singer, rapper, songwriter, composer Myselfson (also known as Jarl Myselfson).
It consist at the begenning in several experimental music made only with the mouth on a tape record.
A technic which was much based on the feeling and on the intuition and because of this, most of the songs were done in quite total improvisation following some specific concepts and ideas.
"I worked during about three years, producing more than 170 tapes full of ideas and melodies ... i did a lot of experimentation and it really help me to develop my creativity like if i've been in a real laboratory... ".
"Myselfson is quite like a scientific project, i mean i really like to explore every sounds and every sensations and combine it together to find a new kind of harmony or just to explain what i feel like in the songs "Spectre and sceptre" and "Take the mic" ".
With the time, some programs have been added to this work to be much precise, have a better sound and follow the real spirit of the band.
Most of the songs are hugely inspired by philosophy, cinema, paintings and video games.
Presently the band is looking for a drummer, a guitarist and a Keyboardist to become a metal band.

Myselfson est un groupe fondé en 2003 par Myselfson (ou Jarl Myselfson), assemblant des influences musicales très diverses (Gothique, IDM, Electro, Ambient, mais aussi Beatbox, Rap, Abstract hip-hop, Classique, Expérimental).
Les musiques sont très éclectiques tout en gardant une certaine homogénéité car elles sont en partie basées sur des concepts qui se recoupent.
Membre:Myselfson (ou Jarl Myselfson) / Chanteur, auteur-compositeur-interprète du groupe Myselfson. La quasi-totalité de ses textes sont en anglais et remettent en cause la "réalité" en utilisant souvent des métaphores.
L'intérêt de Jarl Myselfson pour la philosophie et la psychologie influence particulièrement les compositions du groupe.
