Cause For Revelation formed as a hardcore/metal band combining death metal assault and straight up hardcore. The group features Chris Lopez (Ex:Forever Is Forgotten) on vocals, Kevin Forsythe (guitar) and Jim Garcia (drums) both which are Ex: Jungle Rot (Century Media Records), and Ryan Baxter (Eyes To The Sky, Ex:Rain Of Ruin) on bass.
Cause For Revelation entered Studio One to record their 2004 debut "Surviving Destruction" with Chris Djurick who has recorded such bands as Origin, Gorgasm, Disinter and many more. "Surviving Destruction" hit hard in Spring 2004 and things haven't looked back since. Soon after the release of their First Strike Records release First Strike Records changed names. Funeral Verse Records was born and has since continued to bring the heaviest and dedicated bands.
