About Me

This project has been a long time in the making dating back to 93' when friends Ryan and Chris started there musical ventures. Through many twists and turns, relocations and work with other projects and other people in different places, Ryan made the move back to Colorado in 2005 with bassist Jason Escandell to reunite with Chris. Adam, a fellow co-worker at the time, came along and the line up was completed in October of 2005 with a New Years show to kick it all off. Vonnegut did its stint on a few Monday and Tuesday nights, but with an exciting live show, they quickly elevated themselves to playing weekend gigs to a steadily growing fan base. In addition to radio play, Vonnegut was selected to be a part of Public Service Records 3rd compilation CD. In the meantime they seem to have found a home here in Denver, while backing their dreams of grandeur with hard work, crafty songwriting, and tireless promotion. Vonnegut has a lot on its plate. They will soon be entering the studio again; this time, to record an E.P. These are exciting time for this hungry, young band that has already covered much ground since their conception. ..
