About Me

It ain't easy, being cheesey.
..Rush Anthem
..I am your true, American, continental mutt. Yes, all men are dogs, but I live like a stray.. I grew up in Connecticut, lived in South Florida for 12 years, California, Arizona (yuck), Massachusettes, North Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, South Carolina, etc... I am not an Army brat as so many have suggested, although, I thought about going into the military out of High School. Looking at the world today, I am not only lucky I did not, but also probably lucky to still be alive. (I do have a tremendous appreciation and gratitude towards our troops. We owe them our lives, and if it was not for them, we would be speaking Spanish! Oh wait, nevermind...) Why so many moves? College, like 8 times I think? 3 fiances, and well.. Moving on... I am a drummer of 25 years, with RUSH as a specialty, and a love. I actually met Geddy and Alex in Phoenix at one of their shows. An opportunity I will never forget. I attended the California Institute of the Arts for drums and percussion, and visited the Berkeley College of Music in Boston to rub shoulders with Giants. Work wise, an opportunity arose last summer that allowed me to still be in the hospitality field, without having to lose my mind while doing it. I am now a computer programmer and installer for HSI. This allows me to travel the world for free and play with computers basically. I install the Point of Sale systems for hotels, resorts and restaurants. Neat gig huh? There is no greater reward in life than to be able to give back to society gifts you have been given by God..

I'd like to meet:

Thanks to my career in Hospitality, I have had the pleasure of meeting TONS of folks! (Aerosmith, Stevie Nicks, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Dave Navarro, Tony Bennett, Bette Midler, Mikail Barishnakov, Jerry Seinfeld, Wynton and Branford Marsalis, George Stephanopolis, The Great Lou Holtz, and Pappa Bobby Bowden). Some of them were the most incredible, personal, nicest folks you could meet. I.E Alex Lifeson, Geedy Lee, Tony Bennett.... The others, well, I will be nice and not say anything at all... BUT~ If there was still one person out there I would love to meet, just one, above all, it would have to be the greatest drummer who ever lived...Neil PeartDer Trommler - - - Neil Peart of Rush

Music:

Rush, Eric Clapton, The Police, Sting, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Cream, Rolling Stones and The Beatles. While my interests take root in the above mentioned acts, it is not all inclusive. There is a lot of talent out there today, of which I will listen to if they are still around in 1-2 years, which seems to be the lifespan of most bands today. Rush - Tom Sawyer

Movies:

Anything with Jack Nicholson. "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is a classic, and probably how I will end up. Also, anything slapstick, like Happy Gilmour, Spinal Tap, Mel Brooks stuff. (Yeah. I know, GUY movies) Rush - Circumstances

Television:

Other than sports, there is really only one show I make time for, and that is Survivor. Where do they find some of these people? And when are they going to make a Survivor series in the Antartic where you really do have to survive? (Yes, I argue with the TV too) rush roll the bones
