Hanna: singer and actrice.I studied singing at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and The Hague. I now nearly finished my second year at the Music Theater Academy in Rotterdam. The two main subjects are acting and singing.WHAT I DO:I would describe myself as a acting singer and a singing actress. My specialty is worldmusic. I sing chansons, fado, flamenco, jiddish, south american songs and irish folk. My performance will never be 'just singing', I will tell you a story that comes from deep within. Stories of love, pain, desire. I'm accompanied by my own band, called 'Fresco del Mundo': Fresh from the world. We made our own cd with 13 tracks! Feel free to check it out!MY WORK SO FAR:I sang in several commercials (Hartstichting, Andrélon) and acted in the movie 'Daisy'', a Vietnamese movie, and was in a Bollywoodmovie in Bombay during my travels through India. I made a dancefilm with my sister Sofie Sleumer, fashion designer. I do jazzdance and modern dance, did some modelling work in Yes and Fancy, sang for the Prince of Nepal during his wedding Ceremony and will be on the Dutch Radio (VPRO) with a live performance of Jiddish songs. I give concerts with poets like 'Worldlounge' and 'Wordscape', which include improvisations and my own Jiddish songs.
