Diederik Rijpstra

Hello there, my name is Diederik Rijpstra and I love to play jazzmusic. Currently I am living in Rome to write compositions for my new CD. My first album. Magnifico! In short I will tell you about some nice little highlight projects in my carrier so far. In 2004 I went on tour Gideon van Gelder Quartet across Jordan. I played on the North Sea Jazz Festival (2006) with my band QUINCEY and one year later with the young and talented pianist Jonathan Batiste at Carnegie Hall, New York. It was an honour to play wth him. Well, I hope you like my tunes so far and if you don’t, let me know as well. I will try to put a new trumpetsolo on this space every week from now on.
