My works have been performed extensively in dog parks, 3 supermarkets, the white dwarf star Sirius B, a failed podcast, the floor of the Caspian Sea, and the rubble of what used to be an ivory tower. ASCAP removed that sentence from my bio at their recent young composer awards. I hope you think I'm very impressive, and then you'll listen to more than one of my songs. Well, they're not actually songs; songs usually include melodies and lyrics. I don't really use either too much.
At Brown University, from 2004-2007, I made whacked-out music with Brown New Music .
You can check out articles from ABC News and the Associated Press about my bathroom graffiti-inspired installation, and a lot more, at my site: No one will be watching us
I'm now at Duke University learning about music and cultural studies. I play in the Duke New Music Ensemble and the Djembe Ensemble, which both kick ass. I studied with Stephen Jaffe last fall and am now taking lessons from Scott Lindroth, two excellent mentors.
I recently participated in the fourth round of a great remix project, documented on remixin . This summer I'm chilling in NYC and taking part in A Counterpoint of Tolerance for international composer/performers in Southern California.
