What Does Your Birth Date Mean?
Genuine people who love life, have a sense of adventure and a compassionate nature. Children of Light. Saints and shamans. Hippies and poets, fellow Trail of Dead fans. Musicians and munchkins. People who like a good laugh but also have a concern for the state of the world. People who love all races, treat animals kindly, and take action toward social injustice. And last but not least....my relatives on the other side.People I DON'T want to meet: Liars, cheats, warmongers, dark spirits, mean spirited people, selfish greedy people, arrogant or intolerant people, snobs, ignorameses, and smellies.
...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead; some other Austin favorites (there are many more:) Black Angels; The Black; I Love You but I've Chosen Darkness; Explosions in the Sky; Knife in the Water;) Arcade Fire; Mogwai; Clann Zu; Thrills; My Chemical Romance; Cure; Jane's Addiction; Sonic Youth, Fugazi; ACDC; Gino Vanelli; Elton John; Meat Loaf; Air Supply; Kate Bush; Abba; Enya; Beatles; The New; Coldplay; Bright Eyes; ATDI; Ozzy; Genesis; Rush; Yes; U2; Pearl Jam; Nirvana; Linkin Park, Blue Oyster Cult, Depeche Mode, Celine Dion, Prince; Pete Gabriel; Vangelis; Mike Oldfield; Steve Hillage; Talking Heads; CCR, Led Zeppelin; David Bowie; Moody Blues; Hilary Hahn; Yo-Yo Ma; Bach; Mozart, plus classical, international, oldies, and many more... And I must pay homage to great musicians who have passed through to the other side including Janis Joplin, Jimmi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, John Lennon, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Jim Reeves, John Denver, Curt Kobain, and Elliot Smith, to name a few. My heartfelt thanks to all of you who have made the human tragedy more bearable by sharing your creativity. Om.

And independent movies. I know I'm missing a lot but I can't remember the names of most of them. I also like the Life channel movies based on real stories.
Oh yes! When I have days off work and feel lazy I spend the day watching reality court shows! I love the Eastenders, All My Children, South Park, Family Guy, Friends, Seinfeld, Simpsons, Everyone Loves Raymond, King of Queens, and Jerry Springer, to name a few. And stupid reality shows such as My Big Fat Husband, Blind Date, Elimidate, ans stuff. Aren't I just the intellectual? Of course, I love the science and history channel, nature programs, shows about musicians, and British tele (so I can get homesick.) i.e. The Young Ones, Absolutely Fabulous, Fawlty Towers, etc. To anyone who says tele is a waste of time, I say, get a life. Ha ha. Just kidding. But honestly, I do learn a lot from certain programs, and it's a great stress reliever. When I'm alone I have conversations with it. I can't imagine life without tv. *Update for Wil Forbis: Nova, Globe Trekker, National Geographic, Storm Stories, Worlds Apart, okay okay? I only have three channels at the moment..... waaaa

Books in no particular order: Lord of the Rings trilogy, Silas Marner by George Eliot, Watership Down, Jane Eyre, Autobiography of a Geisha; The Cure for Death by Lightening by Gail-Anderson-Dargatz, His Dark Materials Trilogy by Philip Pullman, Wind in the Willows, White Fang by Jack London, A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson, the Essence Gospels of Peace and From Enoch to the Dead Sea Scrolls compiled by Edmond Bordeaux Szekely. I also love biographies and autobiographies, especially of musicians, easy to read history books with pictures in 'em, stuff about neuroscience, I could go on forever but gotta go...
