Welcome to the worldwide campaign, Paul naked for PETA. For those of you who are unaware or unsure of our petition, well it’s quite simple, we want Sir Paul McCartney to pose naked in one of PETA’s successful anti-fur advertisements. Our reasons are valid, please read below and please sign.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), are one of the most globally acknowledged, respected, influential and successful animal rights organisations. Through shear determination and commitment, PETA has successfully accomplished significant public awareness through their confronting campaigns, often involving celebrity activists.
Sir Paul, an outspoken animal rights advocate and vegan, has actively involved himself in numerous PETA campaigns, including the recent “I am a Musician and I am a Vegetarian†print advert.
PETA’s anti-fur awareness campaign is one of the most memorable and ongoing to date. For instance, some of PETA’s advertisement's include the “I’d Rather go Naked than Wear Fur†“Ink for Mink’ and “Be Comfortable in your own skin†which have been promoted by celebrities such as Pamela Anderson, Kim Basinger, Tommy Lee and Steve-O, just to name a few.
My friends and I as committed supporters of PETA, wish to thank all who have participated in PETA’s anti-fur awareness campaign. One particular celebrity however, who has not yet featured, and in acknowledgment of his support and activism, is the loved and respected Sir Paul. In our view, Sir Paul’s global following and popularity, which flows as strong today as it did “Yesterdayâ€, would captivate and inform a wider population.
