Amalgam 8 is the production label of artist TRX (pronounced "T Rex"), and the fruit of his desire to allow music to speak to the listener, at times louder than words. TRX has defined his tunes as "an amalgamation of sounds." These sounds have been deeply influenced by a broad array of musical styles, then expressed through melodic notes, soulful basslines and recycled elements.
      Putting in work in '07, Amalgam 8 Productions is collaborating with artists from coast to coast and areas in between----- together bringing fresh sounds to the
musical arena.
