Don't dream it... be it

About Me

Hi! (How’s that for an introduction?)
I’m Lisa. I’m a Canadian girl born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (That's the capital of Canada [in case you didn't know]). I come from a Military family… (Yes, Canada has a Military.)
During the past couple of months I've started working again, (I was on maternity leave.) I’ve been blessed with the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me, motherhood. My son is not only beautiful, he’s smart, talented - and has given me everything I have to believe in. This is his Dad, my husband, the most wonderful man in the world.
I manage a Collectibles Store with my husband (and one day we'll own it) – one that deals with jewellery, coins and sports memorabilia. Mostly I sell jewellery, and let me tell you, I had no idea the intricacies of Gemology (and that’s just one part of it). My husband has taken a long time family business, and with me by his side, expanded it. We’re in the midst of an internet marketing process, along with eBay, that will hopefully be in bloom within the next six months or so. (I have lots of pictures to take and things to write.) At that point I’ll be able to link you to a couple of cool websites and you’ll be able to see more of what we’re all about.
In my spare time, I write. My husband is a musician and a producer… we’ve got many projects on the go aside from managing, we’re both very passionate of our own personal goals and dreams.
Also, technically, we’re half-way married (common-law)… the exchange of personally written vows and mutually signed document will happen on June 7th, 2008. It will take place in some far off country that I’m still deciding on. Who knows, it could be yours;) Following that will be our reception, in another undecided location. Woo Hoo!
I’m driven by the enormous amounts of love and positive energy that surround me. I hope that every one of you, who reads this, knows you’re a part of that.
So, thanks for reading, and let’s get this show on the road!
Love,
~lisa~
