Uh... isn't that obvious???
OK, I do have some other interests... video games, anime, listening to Howard Stern, reading books by authors like Robert E. Howard and Stephen King, and of course slaving away on my zine.
I'm lucky I have a lovely wife who puts up with all of this and me. Thanks honey!!
Other metal fanatics, bands that play real metal and none of that wimpy stuff that you see all over MTV these days. Just like it says above. In other words, if you're in a band that's influenced by the likes of... Korn, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Pantera, Biohazard, Atreyu, Darkest Hour, and such... keep moving, I don't want to be your friend.

Ok, there's some non-metal too...
Atomic Rooster, Full Moon, Poobah, George Thorogood, Blue Cheer, Grand Funk Railroad, Blues Creation, Flower Travelin' Band, Brainticket, Elias Hulk, Horse, Acid Mother's Temple, Hard Stuff, Armageddon, Andromeda, Samurai, Abiogenisi, Zess, Malombra, Black Hole, JPT Scare Band, Winterhawk, Ultra, Circus 2000, Coven, Black Widow, Wicked Minds, Hawkwind, Mountain, Vanilla Fudge, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple....
Conan the Barbarian, Godfather I and II, Excalibur, Animal House, Hellraiser I and II, Evil Dead 2, and lots of Godzilla flicks.
Invasion, The Simpsons, Family Guy... I honestly don't watch all that much TV. Either too busy checking out tunes instead, watching movies/anime, or playing video games. I do watch the Boomerang channel a lot though. Old cartoons DESTROY the new ones.
Stuff by Stephen King, Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman and Robert E. Howard. But let me say that Alan Moore is the GOD of comic book writers. Check out his run on Swamp Thing or the Watchmen mini-series if you need proof.
Lately I've been picking up a bunch of Marvel's hardcover collections. X-Men, Spider Man and Fantastic Four omnibuses (omnibi?), Eternals, Earth X (Where's hardcovers of Universe X and Paradise X, Mr. Quesada???), and others.
Heroes are not role-models. Always keep that in mind. That said, my heroes are...
Lemmy, for giving us the most kick-ass rock and roll band of all time.
Chuck Schuldiner, for being the godfather of death metal. May you rest in peace.
Howard Stern, for always speaking his mind whether the moral majority likes it or not.
The guys who wore the rubber Godzilla suits over the years, thanks for stomping on Tokyo so many times and beating the crap out of evil monsters.
