About Me

St. Nectarios Orthodox Christian Church is a mission parish of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese located in Lakeland,Fl. It is the only Orthodox Church in Lakeland a city of nearly 100,000 people, and is only the second Orthodox church in Polk county a county that is about the same size as the state of Delaware, and is the only one that has the Litugy all in english. Services are Sunday 9:30 am Divine Liturgy, Wed. 6:00pm Moleben, and Sat. 5:00pm Vigil. Special services will be listed in the bulletin. Services are curently being help at Sante' Fe High School's Chapel at 3110 U.S. 92 E. Lakeland, Fl.The Orthodox Church is evangelical, but not Protestant. It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman. It isn't non-denominational - it is pre-denominational. It has believed, taught, preserved, defended and died for the Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost 2000 years ago.
