About Me

I have been a lifelong musician (keyboards) since age 5. I traveled extensively over the years with several bands from the mid 70’s (Zapp) and 80’s (Hollywood, Ray Anderson and the Fire, Robert Murdock Band, The Deal), then with the John Eddie Band up until 1996. While with John Eddie Band I had the opportunities to play with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, George Thorogood, The Smithereens, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Greg Kihn, Marshal Crenshaw, Nils Lofgren, George Thorogood and the Destoyers, Levon Helm and the All-Stars, Billy Squire, as well as many other National Acts. I moved briefly to Philadelphia to set up the PhillymusicZine website, and in December of 1996, I came down to Florida to work on the second “The Deal” album “Bye, Bye Baby”. I was the keyboard player in that band from New Jersey. In the summer of 1997, I designed and built the studio in a 1905 Victorian House in the downtown Historical District of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Although I am no longer a partner in that venture, I do still work there occasionally as a recording engineer/producer, arranger as well as you guessed it Keyboards! Today it is known as Studio 420 (and yes the address is 420 East Tarpon Ave.)! haha! One particular highlight for me over the years was a tour sponsored by Marlboro and Warsaw Radio in Warsaw, Poland in 1992 (wow, cna't believe it's been that long!). Because of this tour, I was able to take a trip out to Ukraine and visit my family members that I had never met in my lifetime. Locally I have performed with The Deal, The Authorities, Rhodeside Band, Ozona Band, The Intention, Molten Mike, Dalton Adams, Brandi Lynn, Aaron Issler, G.W. Allstars, as well as fill-in work for several other club bands and artists in and around the Tampa Bay region. With some of these local groups we have opened for; Eddie Money, Alice Kooper, Little Feat, Clint Black as well as some other national recording acts. Believe it or not...I actually was a Elementary Music Teacher K-4th Grade back in the late 70's/early 80's and taught privately for 14 years as well. I have since retired doing that!!! haha!

My Interests

My passion in life is studio work, creative work where I can express myself or within the framework of working with younger musicians, songwriters, bands and the like. I have done some songwriting and I have even written music for commercials, children's audio book CD's and even Hypno-Therapy CD's! haha! I am hoping to one day open my own recording studio again.

I'd like to meet:

I am always interested in meeting new people and hopefully making new friends in this journey of life, especially other musicians/artists.

Music:

I love all types of music. I have recording, played on and produced everything from Christian Contemporary, Country, Rock, Blues, Jazz, R&B, Alternative, Heavy Metal, Grundge, Rap, Operatic, Choirs and even a Jazz Christmas Album. I have a deep respect for just about any form of music as I always try to understand the writers passions as I am a songwriter myself.

Movies:

Television:

Stargate-SG1, Battlestar Gallactica and other Sci-Fi stuff. But I do also like comedies when I need a laugh, and sometimes even intellectually stimulating shows to keep the old brain synapsis' sharp!

Books:

Alot of technical manuals and professional magazines in my field like:
Mix

  • TapeOp

  • Electronic Musician

  • Pro Audio Review

  • Heroes:

Jesus, Lord and Savior. My parents, John and Hilda. They were the most loving, kind, generous, caring, hard working and supportive parents a child could ever ask for. I thank God that I was their son. They were also loving, kind, caring and generous to all family and friends always. God Bless You Mom, I love you!
