Pedal Steel Player back in Western Pa. after spending twenty three years in Baltimore Md.In addition to steel, I also play tenor sax, keys, bass guitar, and can add vocals.I am available to do free lance gigs, and recording projects. I am happy to play modern country, classic rock, etc.A short bio,
Born and raised in Monongahela,Pa.and employed in construction. Married to Laura for 25 years, two grown kids, son Jonathan(if you need a real tenor sax player this is your guy)and Emily a music education major at Slippery Rock. Started playing in my Dad's band "The Twiniters" back in the 70s. I was privileged to work with Crafty who turned me on to the contraption known as the pedal steel. Moved to Baltimore for my day job and spent 18 years with "The Stillwater Band". For those years Stillwater was a popular band in Maryland playing a wide range of music. Known as a country act, the band evolved into a variety band covering classic rock, motown, and even a jazz standard every now and then. Some of the other bands I have worked with include 3TD,Brynn Marie,Kickback,Ruff Creek and Bryan Cole. In addition to band gigs, I am the choir director at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Charleroi Pa. All of the church music is sung acapella. In my spare time I have been learning digital recording. I hope to put up some cuts in the near future.
