My Interests

Tsi Niionkwarihó:ten Kanonhsonniké:ha, the Revolution, comic books, concept design, boxing, old fashioned living, and movies.

I'd like to meet:

1. Revolutionary brothers and sisters. 2. Comic geeks with sense of humor. 3. Networking with comic book/illustration pros 4. People who get the "joke".

Music:

Aside from loving film scores (I'm a geek I guess), I love Pink Floyd, Sigur Ros, Green Day, the Killers, Mogwai, the Beatles and also bands from the '80's like Journey and Van Halen. Actually, I like music in every genre, but I suppose these bands have most of my affection.

Movies:

Lord of the Rings Trilogy (sorry for being so mainstream), Star Wars Trilogy (again, sorry), Born on the Fourth of July, Rocky, Vanilla Sky, Ali, Braveheart, Conan the Barbarian, Heat, Rudy, Superman, X-Men 2 (the best comic movie next to the first Superman.)Sin City, Malcolm X. I love films by Oliver Stone and Micheal Mann. I also love a good zombie movie (be prepared, it's going to happen for real). Also, I think Se7en should get an honorable mention as one of the best underrated movies.

Television:

I like to watch adult swim on Cartoon Network (Futurama, Family Guy, Sealab). Futurama is coming back in 2008, btw. Futurama, Family Guy, Simpsons, the Daily Show, the Colbert Report, Chapelle's Show, Enterprise, Contender, Lost, Dead Like Me, Gilmour Girls, Rocket Robin Hood, Hilarious House of Frightenstein, and Star Trek from the 1960's.

Books:

I'm not a big reader of fiction and I love boring books on history and ethnology. For fiction my favorite are, Animal Farm, 1984, Lord of the Flies, To Kill a Mockingbird, the Hobbit, the LOTR Triliogy (sounds like my Grade 9 booklist). Best comics are Red Son, Kingdom Come, Batman: Dark Night Returns, Batman: Hush, Batman:the Killing Joke, Transfomers: The War Within, Punisher: Welcome Home Frank, Punisher: Circle of Blood, Astonishing X-Men Vol.1, The Maxx vol.1, Conan: the Frost Giant's Daughter, Spawn 1-50, Marvel's G.I.Joe 1-40, and Civil War.

Heroes:

Superman, the Punisher, Optimus Prime, Che Guevara, Sugar Ray Leonard, Jack Dempsey, and Muhammad Ali. Artist Heroes: Feng Zhu, Warren Fu, Mark Goerner, Ian McCaig, Jim Lee, Scott Robertson, Ryan Church, of course Stephen Colbert.
