I was born on 11th of May 1960, as a typical taurus.Since age of 13, due to my elder sister Kerstin and her friend Rolf, I have been playing classic guitar first. I began early with some friends in different local musical projects to play rock music. Mostly own compositions influenced by the typical late 60s and beginning 70s style. In summer 1977 I joined the rock band Anaxagoras, doing my job on lead guitar and vocals. Responsible for compositions.
We didn't perform from 1985 til our surprising reunion in 2005. Despite of early and later confirmed doubts about realistic evaluation I am still very glad to be a member again. My special credits to my friend Ralf Ruhenstroth and his initial idea, commitment and fantastic support during the beginning period of the project. We really attempted to implement that for a long time still conceived dream. A CD release with our fantastic music. Unfortenately and due to personal issues Ralf and Marcell had to leave the project in spring 2008. I hope the music - progressive psychedelic rock - will still continue with a new and better performing line up as soon as possible. Meanwhile I am looking for professional performing musicians like singer, keyboards, bass and drums. Since 2004 I have been playing Folk Rock still as a semiprofessional entertainer in audiences mostly like local concerts, open stage or small events. In summer 2007 I started writing songs, lyrics and poems again. It was rather hard to get fingers quickly again, anyone out there with a reunion experience understands what I am talking about. Some songs are written in german, others in english or spanish. My music style varies like my wide inspirations. I still have them in my mind.
My lyrics will tell you about how I see the world pointing out what is important in relationships inbetween human beings and in society items. Even gobal political issues if it's necessary. No doubt about it, yes it is! I am missing social responsabilty, convincing visions and utopian thinking to resolve the world's hugest problems like financial injustice and global warming. What makes life worth living for in a better world for a better understanding between different cultures? I consider that as one of the biggest challenges the world has ever seen. What is necessary to find your inner peace? Only with the intention giving you surprising inspirations. You might find some answers you still were looking for. If you love your questions you might will begin to live the answers. To open someones doors beyond the horizon. Let me conclude, only to entertain you - but giving inspirations. Open minded, authentic and honest. So, how I am. To enjoy and compart amazing moments because live is too short.
