BIOGRAPHY:
"Sorrow" is defined as: deep distress, sadness, or regret. To "Storm" is to make a mass attack against, to rush along furiously. When both words are combined: To create a campaign of mass attack against an enemy, out of deep distress. This reveals the mission of Sorrowstorm as a musical solo project. Since the year 2000 it has been operation by establishing an atmosphere of victory, might, and power. It has experienced times of difficulty, trials, and obstacles of many kinds and with the coverage of Christ has endured. The reason for its existence is a strong calling to operate in the unblack (Christian Black Metal Style) underground in the United States and Latin America and is also a legitimate part of the general USBM and secular black metal regional scenes. Sorrowstorm has not always been a solo-project. For one year, during the summers of 2002 to 2003, 10 shows were played with a high success rate including a tour of Panama. Now it is back to solo status. It will stay this way.
Because of its evangelistic mission through this genre of music, much hatred has been manifested against Sorrowstorm from all four corners of the world, drawing much attention and controversy. Empty words and threats have been fruitless. The truth is, the more resistance the enemy (Satan) conjures, the more God will use Sorrowstorm to achieve amazing victories in His name.
