Day of Ascension [SEEKS A VOCALIST]

About Me

Melodic.
Bold.
Unconventional.
Charismatic.
All can be said about the unit that is Day of Ascension.

The band was born on the 26th of August, 2006, after being only a concept in the minds of Yevgeniy Pisarenko and Ã‰lan O'Neal.
With a passion for Christ and a loathesome view on the nature of the modern world of mankind, the band began its passion-filled journey.
Andrew Blair was recruited to be the band's bassist, as he also shared a similar vision. Dan Eneberg was called to help with guitars, but soon took to the keyboard as his output.
After a very prolonged time of writing and perfecting their first few songs, the band recorded their 2007 Demo with the help of Daniel Gleason of Afterimage.
With an upcoming EP in motion, and with the intent of spreading their bold message relentlessly, Day of Ascension is here to stay.

Sounds Like: Raw, melodic, sometimes even symphonic black metal, with elements of thrash, progressive, doom, and atmospheric metal. Almost sounds like avante-garde metal at times.
