Prelude: I am Felipe Diez III. However, many people simply call me "Phil," the anglicized version - for everyone..s convenience. At times, the pseudonym "Ogrvstorm" may be used in reference to my musical activities. I am a U.S citizen as well as a native of the Republic of Panama. In the past have traveled back and forth for academic and leisure purposes. In the near future, I will move back to the States in 2008, God willing.
I am a non-conformist, bold, and strategic man with concrete goals and a unique future vision. God is my strength and metal music is my life. Not being like the masses and not doing what they do is what I take pride in. I am an outcast of sorts by choice in many ways but I fit in very well in many different groups and in society in general. Effective public relations and leadership skills are always important - almost essential but beware - I can also be extremely social and gregarious when the time is right. I do not consider myself an introvert of sorts and it really depends on the situation. Meeting new people is always a pleasure although I often notice that so many people have very little to offer due to their self-destructive and outwardly toxic nature. Weight training and practicing the noble and manly art of boxing and self defense is part of my persona. I also walk often. Having gone solo with my growing musical projects that have been quite successful in my home country (and growing abroad) and having owned a sole-proprietorship musical promotion / distribution label for a few years has been almost like a full-time job but has been a very rewarding experience although the small record label, Dysmorphic, no longer exists. Musically, I prefer to work alone or with another person for studio projects (4 in total). I do not plan on playing live now or in the future. I am also the national / international manager and co-producer for the Panamanian "Melodic Deathcore" band Adriel who are becoming well known and respected in Panama City.
I am a born-again Christian. My main goal in life is to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and follow His Will for my life. I consider myself an active musical evangelist in ministry, striving to work with many people and entities within the scene as I arduously toil with Sorrowstorm, Encryptor, Rehumanize, and Northern Ash - projects I am involved with. I work with the most extreme forms of Metal the underground can offer. I am very proud to call myself a true metahead and a zealous fanatic! Metal is alive and well. Its brutality, speed, and spirit stays within me. I remain very active in the underground as my vision becomes greater. This involves people, bands, and various forms of media.
I completed my Master's Degree (2 year program) in Business Administration and Marketing in May of 2006, my Bachelors (College) degree in Marketing in December of 2003, and graduated from Balboa High School, Canal Zone, Panama class of 1999. In the future, I may pursue other areas of academia to further my studies but for now I work in the English (ESL) department of a non-profit organization. I have taught English as a second language at a couple of institutions in the past. In the future, I plan on pursuing a reputable business career in music and merchandise. I Recently joined the Jesusmetal.com team as an interviewer, reviewer, and writer of commentaries and articles. Further forms of ministry include local church leadership geared toward youth and new people in the Faith as well as street / concert outreach. I am also the co-founder of HopeMessenger Bible Ministries on Paltalk, instant messenger, and Myspace along with my friend Broc Toney. The Myspace link icon is on my top friends list.
