About Me

My name is Minerva Lea McGregor - and I'm a hardcore loser. I've never been able to find a label that really defines who I am or a certain group of people that I really fit in with, so I don't really know how the heck to describe myself. I'm interested in everything, and I love to talk. I have a bit of a random/weird/morbid sense of humor. If you have added me, hopefully you are game for concerts, religious and political/philosophical discussion, laughter, and singing - lots and lots of singing.
I was playing guitar in a band called Red Exit and I am now doing other things. I am persuing a project that really fits my needs as a musician and as a Rocker. I have a cool solo project going and I hope to find another guitarist for it so I can get some more tracks up.
If you want more details about my music life, check out the music section. If you want more about my spiritual life and my poetry, surf me blog. And if you need more than that - hit me up on MSN.
Rock on,
Minnie

My Interests

Everything. I have the attention span of a three-year old and the memory of a goldfish. I'm really into music (mostly Rock), writing, politics, history, science, community service, and business. I love to play video games (especially fighting games like MK, Street Figher, Killer Instinct, Tekken, etc.), write, cook, draw, talk, sleep, make music, ...and so much more. There's nothing I love more than a good, intelligent, and/or fun conversation - "As iron sharpens iron, one man sharpens another". I do my best to be open minded, so if you want to talk, or if you just need someone to listen, then, by all means, contact me.

Music:

I'm a singer and a songwriter, not a singer/songwriter. I am actively seeking any band or project in need of a Rock singer (Punk, Soul, Metal, stuff with screaming - anything that will keep me awake). I've been writing songs since I was 8, and writing for other people since I was 13. I started with Nashville artists, finally evolving to Portland Rock, which has been truly awesome. I also do media, flyers, and promotion work for anyone in my scene who'll let me. I realize that the indie musician has few resources, so I do what I can to help out. If you need a songwriter, media person, or just a good band reccommendation, don't hesitate to drop me a line. I do everything I do free of charge. If you'd like to see samples, message me. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you think I might be of help to you or your band. Only by working together can we accomplish our goals. *******************************************
