About Me

.. MySpace Customizer

"DEVIL DOG," from THE LEMON"PARANOID," from THE LEMON"CEDRIC B. LYTE," from the THE LEMONMy music resume reads like a "who's who" of my music resume.

Obnoxious middle school rap, a poly-genre comedy trio, a terrible punk metal band, classical guitar at weddings, MIDI programming til my eyes bleed, a progressive jazz-rock restaurant band, Bela Fleck rip-offs, skit music for drama & video projects, cartoon music, film music for movies never made, lead guitar in a blues band, banjo in a jam band, fretless bass in a klezmer/surf/metal band, guitar & banjo & dulcimer & sitar in an indigenous world music group, samples & guitar in a noise-tard rock band, guitar & vocals in a Dead Milkmen tribute band, & a quirky surf punk band.

I've amassed 7 home-recorded albums, no two of which sound remotely similar. Have a look at the menu...

(1) ...And First of All [2002] pleasant progressive instrumentals featuring grilled classical guitar over a bed of MIDI greens-- classical, flamenco, jazz, world & americana (2) Arabis: The Alliance of the Nail [2002] dense layers dark Arabic filmmusic basted in polyrhythms and drizzled with metal, a complex taste (3) the pink album [2004] alt, rock, surf, humor, pop, & metal tossed in a blender, spread under vocals & telecasters, & served pink (4) Coprolalia [2004] scatalogical Zappaesque humor beans over R&B & related groovadopatronics pudding, guaranteed to offend the whole family (5) YBsides [2005] because having a b sides comp makes me feel like a real star (6) The Lemon [2007] a bitter break-up concept album over incongruently upbeat punk/rock/alt confectionary (7) The Insipid Citrus Chronicles [2008] a 13-years in the making 18-minute epic folk appetizer of Tullian proportions & absurdist Iliad-on-shrooms lyrical garnishLet me know if you'd like any CDs; all I ask is for shipping costs. And check out I Can't Believe It's Not Better from the list below. Or not.
