OMM
Northern California’s Funk n’ Roll Drum and Bass Experience!OMM first sprouted out of Chico, CA in the summer of 2005. Consisting of a dynamic drummer and a multi-effects savvy bass player, the duo has been described as "funky, fun, innovative and different." OMM has accomplished much for a band so young. From playing all night gigs headlining dance parties, to sharing the stage with some of Chicos best-loved bands, OMM always puts forth the funky foot, exceeding the expectations of those seeking to be entertained and impressed. Their debut album, Foundation E.P., was released in January 2006.
OMM’s blend of Funk, rock and psychedelia make them a welcome addition to Chicos music scene.

Jessica Eileen Allen is the rhythm section for OMM. She has been playing the drums for 9 years. She studied at the Bloom School of Jazz in Chicago with Grammy award winning drummer Paul Wertico . Jessica has performed with bands on both the East and West coasts and is excited about the potential of OMM to play its part in the Ongoing Musical Migration.
The Reverend Jason Tate for over a decade has been laying the foundation for seminal acts in Chico’s original music scene. As a founding member of Potluck, the Rev helped usher the acid jazz movement that defined the Chico sound at the end of the 1990s. For the new century the Reverend co-founded Magic Theater, a band critically acclaimed as the "Reincarnation of Rock." The Reverend took a sabbatical from performing after MT released their landmark album "Smoke and Mirrors" at the end of 2002, and has re-emerged with OMM in June of 2005.
