Vocalists Cathrine Legardh &Mette Halle are organizing the One Mic Stand - which is an open jazz mic - taking place the last Sunday of the month at Cafe Intime . In the future OMS will also be presenting singers from abroad and organizing vocal jazz workshops for singers (at all levels) - with tutors from here and abroad. AUGUST + SEPTEMBER 2008 - VOCAL JAZZ WORKSHOPS WITH GUEST TUTORS FIONNA DUNCAN (UK) & JAY CLAYTON (US) The lovely and charismatic, Scottish singer and tutor, Fionna Duncan and her fabulous musicians, Brian Kellock (p) and Ronnie Rae (b), will be back in August 2008 for yet another Vocal Jazz Workshop. It is an international workshop for singers at all levels - taking place in Central Copenhagen on the 30th and 31st of August. On the 13th and 14th of September there is another two day workshop with with the wonderful singer and tutor Jay Clayton from New York. Both workshops will end out with a Student Concert at Cafe Intime. Last year the workshop as well as the concert was a great succes. Write or call for further info or to sign up.
