About Me

Married to Jessica and still driving the tour bus through crazyville. My mantra, don't sweat the small stuff. If I say it enough times, I may actually begin to believe it! LOLIf you all would like to know where I'm at in life, just check out the film clip below. I'm following the Gospel of Madea! Madea is the thing that comes close to a Goddess in my book, and the only Goddess I would ever contemplate worshipping - if I was into that sort of thing. <><><><><><><>< ><><><><><><><> <><><><> To join my private yahoo readers group, go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Michallet_Preview_Readers/

My Interests

Playing The Sims2, I wrote a traditional Gothic Vampire novel and was signed with PD Publishing ( http://www.pdpublishing.com/sorrowendpage.htm )When I have time from studies, I'm working on a modern vampire novel that I hope will be published mainstream. You can read part of it here: http://www.charani.org/ChaSleepComesTooLate.htmlI also write fan fic, you can find at these links: X:WP (Lesbian with X/G) http://xenafiction.net/author_pages/lcrystalmichalletromero. html ST:TOS (Het with S/C and new characters) http://www.trektales.com/encounters.htmlMy own personal web site is at: www.charani.orgIn addition to writing, I also work on arts of crafts, sculpty, ceramics and paper mache.

I'd like to meet:

Sane, sober people for friendship only. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> NOTE: The following is merely a description of a co-dependent person. The catch phrases and actions are purely arbitrary and are indicative of the phrases and actions of a co-dependent and are not taken verbatim from any single person, but are culled from numerous co-dependents whom I have encountered throughout my life. For those of you who sent me emails and echoed my sentiments, and even laughed out loud with me at the crazy memories of some of our co-dependent exs, thank you for showing that a sense of humor still exists in the world. For those of you who recognize yourself in the following phrases, face the fact that you're a co-dependent and go get some help from a QUALIFIED therapist! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> What I mean by sane is people who are not co-dependent. I can handle a bit of comical insanity, but if you're slobbering over someone and saying things like:"I can't breath without you!" or "You are my EVERYTHING!" or "You are my reason for happiness!" or "My heart beats ONLY for you," especially when you have NEVER MET this lover before in real life and ESPECIALLY WHEN you have children and place the lover over those kids, then don't bother me. Instead, go and find a good therapist to help you overcome your co-dependency. If you've already had thearpy and sound like this, then go to that therapist and ask for your money back!!! roflmaoIn other words, I'd like to meet sober people for friendship only. I personally don't drink on a continuous basis, but do sometimes indulge in a plum wine (over Japanese dinner) or a margarita (with Mexican food) or rum and coke. I don't believe that I need to drink to have a good time. For me, drinking is a casual passtime, not a habit. But if you're an occassionally drinker, and not a sloppy/mean drunk, then I have no problems with ya!

Music:

Evanescence, The Killers, Lifehouse, Black Eyed Peas, James Blunt, Cirque du Soleil music and Pacabel's Canon, Native American music and so many more that would take up too much space.

Movies:

Foreign films, Indi movies like Smoke Signals, Hong Kong martial art (wuxia), action, drama's, suspense, anything by Tyler Perry, as well as what are called "chick flicks" and comedies. I also like those silly teen movies like American Pie. I guess I like everything except slasher movies. Ghost stories, are cool, but slashers - nah. Too much like real life, lol

Television:

Lately it's been Jericho and Heroes, two fantastic shows for this season!! In additon to these new shows, I like Medium, Las Vegas, NCIS, all L&O shows, Lost, House, Survivor, CSI -LV, ER, Without a Trace, Threshold, Cold Case, Desperite Housewives, Crossing Jordon. Shows that I like that are no longer on air, Commander in Chief, Night Stalker, Xena: Warrior Princess, ST-TOS, ST-DS9, first season of ST-NG, Sliders, and BtVS. <> <> I also like a few reality shows like Survivor, Big Brother and American Idol.

Books:

Authors like Steinbeck, Poe, Ellison, Lovecraft and more contemporaries authors like Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Sandra Cisneros, Anne Rice, Isabel Allende, Amy Tan and so many more.

Heroes:

My grandmother who, despite her many challenges, was always there to offer a word of comfort and support. She is dearly missed.
