folk, country, swing, chamber, fusion, jazz, of course ska & reggae... anime soundtracks from my sister's collection. My tastes kinda vary, I don't like manufactured sounds unless I'm doing the manufacturing! I'm into advanced music theory, but above all, I love music that feels right, that draws you in, and artists who have something to say. I've played with Back Up Jackson, The Miasmics, Alfonzo Velez, Central NJ Brass Ensemble, the Tim Gillis Band, Waterfront Junkies, Sayreville Main St. Theatre Co., and various other projects. Music defines me, I only come alive when playing, composing, laying down tracks. Hearing the music that develops from your own ideas is such an awesome trip.

Even when a movie is worth criticizing, just let it carry you off somewhere... be naive, enjoy yourself! Otherwise why sit there being irradiated for 2 hours? I don't go to the movies much, but recent favorites are Constantine, Spiderman 2, I 3 Huckabees, and Napoleon Dynamite for being so... unique. Favorite of all is still "Twice Upon A Time," the greatest movie nobody's seen. Come over and watch it and you'll understand!
I limit my television watching to ... Adult Swim.
Just finished reading "The Five People You Meet In Heaven," and cried... warned my aunt about the ending... she cried too. Read it if you haven't cried in a while. Of course I grew up on Lloyd Alexander, Nintendo Power magazine and whoever wrote the Phantom Tollbooth, that was awesome.
My father, miracle worker and musical mastermind! Jesus because people are always wondering what he would do... I bet ya people never wonder what you or I would do. Also my favorite songwriter John Popper! listen to songs like "Whoops," or "Sweet Pain," or "Fledgling," or "Love of my Life," or "Go Outside and Drive." I hope to someday be able to communicate myself lyrically and musically like he does.
