About Me

Drumming is my passion and that made me the drummer that I am today. At 49 I can still give the groove that the singer (Line Rioux) expects to have when I'm sitting on stage behind her. Unafraid of a challange and very attracted to new drum technics and licks. Before Line Rioux I worked with Hidden Tower with whom I recorded "Grab Your Ticket" wich I'm extreamely proud of.

My Interests

Music:

Influences:
I would say that my early influences were from Deep Purple, April Wine, Santana, Kanzas, Jethro Tull, Genisis, Yes, Heart, Steve Miller, Chicago , Journey, Supertramp, Pat Benatar. For 20 years I would work with cover bands and we learned the music that gave us gigs. So we learned a lot of top 40 songs and played every weekends untill we dropped.
Then for a few years I could'nt work and I listened to a lot of different styles and got hooked on progressive and fusion jazz. Bands like Rush, Steve Vai, Dream Theater, Vital Information, Chic Corea, Dave Wheckl, Jo Satriani, Michel Camilo, "And of course Frank Zappa".
