About Me

Paraconflict formed in early 1997 somewhere in tapsihan a punk tambayan ( hangout) beside Adamson University from the ashes of D-Kyos band a HC/Punk outfit from Taguig. The original line-up are Mike 'Chaos' in guitar/vocals, Humar in bass/vocals and Wado of Pateros HC band Red Coalition formerly Screaming Beggars in drums. Wado leave the band and replaced by Altok of Unknown Heroes in mid 1997. Then we started to play every DIY HC/Punk gig there have from Bataan to Lucena. Some people describe our sound then as raw anarcho punk our music and words are heavily influenced by Resist, MAsskontrol, Destroy, Doom, and Oi Polloi. We recorded our first rehearsal demo in late 1997 but the master copy got lost somewhere. By early 1998 we recorded our second rehearsal demo with 10 tracks inside and submitted some of it in local and DIY compilation. This time Boni also our funny Crust/Oi buddy in Adamson University play growlllls with some songs and also play with us for a couple of gig including a supposed to be Aus Rotten Gig in Marikina and Sta. Rosa, Laguna. By 1999, the band got inactive because Mike got married and seriously pursue his law studies. But Humar and Altok decided to continue the band and recorded a long delayed Fascist Terror Album. Niño of Unknown Heroes band from Makati and Ban Of COR session with us that time of recording. We're all drunk and fucked up that time so The results was not that good but still we manage to release it out. It composed of 14 songs. Some songs also included in DIY compilation in Indonesia, Europe and here in the Philippines. By year 2000, Altok quit to pursue also his engineering studies. That time it was Ban with drums, Heintje of Lie Detector play guitars, still Humar play the bass and vocals. There was a time also that Erwin Jinx of NSA play drums and Don of Terror Rust play vocals for awhile. Then by mid 2000 the line-up was composed of pure DIY creatures from sampcore collective. Humar stays with bass, Heintje "the boracho" in guitars, it was Joselito 'Jorj' call the shot for drums and Gore of Disabuse band in vocals, that line-up transformed the music from raw anarcho punk to crust/grind. We are supposed to record ten songs for a split project LP with French crust band Urban Struggle under Maloka records of France. But we were very very sorry for them for all the effort they gave, that we managed to record 3 songs only because of different circumstances with each every band members, the band got disbanded temporarily Joselito need to take care of his family including his new born baby, Heintje and Gore got a job which is impossible to conjure up with band schedules, humar also got a job that required him to travel in every part of the Philippines. But still we are hoping to continue the Split LP project if given a chance. Late 2004, we decided to revive the band again with Humar in Bass, Joselito in drums and splat vocals and heintje on guitars and drunk throated vocals. That year also we recorded the 7 songs MCD demo and also gave songs to Malaysian label for split CD project and Japan for ep tape release. We also decided to get Chuck of Condemned not only to trade hell alcohol but also to add more grind crushing riffs. We are now planning to record for our hopefully full length CD.embed enableJSURL="false" enableHREF="false" saveEmbedTags="true" allowScriptAccess="never" allownetworking="internal" enableJavascript="false" allowScriptAccess="never" allownetworking="internal" style='display:none'
