About Me

I think you can pretty much tell that by my interests and musical taste. In case it isn't obvious, I play bass for Portland's greatest rock/alternative band ever: Trick Sensei. Check us out and buy our album. Try it... you'll like it.
Personally, I am the sort of person that always has an opinion. I am honest. Some times painfully so. Don't take it personally, it is just the way I am. I don't do ANYTHING unless I am going to put 150% into it - my rule of thumb is "if it isn't worth doing right, it isn't worth doing at all." Despite of all that, people tell me that I am a pretty nice guy.
I also write a great deal. Some of which has been published into books, and much of which deals with religion, mythology, the occult and magick. I am also an Apostolic Bishop. Having said that, this is important: This page is where I indulge in my love of playing musick. You might find my esoteric writings here, but I don't intend on using this medium to argue or debate magick, philosophy, religion or ethics. I have a Livejournal account for that. Thanks. I appreciate the understanding. If you'd like a sample of what I am talking about you should check out Reemergent Gnostic Zeitgeist
This is by far, my absolute most favorite wish list. ;)
This is my second:
If you want finely crafted instruments at a really good price, these people have an amazing product:

My Interests

Playing the bass, photography, music, brewing, qabalah, comparative religion, javacrucianism, absinthe, ethics, painting, writing, hanging out with cool people, pizza, learning.

I'd like to meet:

Other musicians my age. Particularly musicians that like to explore intense, progressive music and invoke an emotional response from their audience.

I'd like to meet Ozzy and Sharon Obsbourne so I could shake both of their hands.

I'd like to have coffee with Pete Trewavas from Marillion; Billy Sheehan from Talas; Roger Waters from Pink Floyd; Justin Chancellor of Tool, and Simon Gallup of The Cure.

Packing sucks

And for the record... moving sucks too. There are few things I find more stressful. I can look at it as a new beginning, a change of pace, new scenery... what ever - it blows.

An interesting observation about today's pop music

One of the things I have noticed lately, which may be particular to the Portland "music scene" (it certainly isn't like that in L.A.) is the level of dedication to one project. It seems everyone ...
