Natascia nanni è nata il 15 dicembre 1973 a Meldola in provincia di forlì, nel nord italia. Nel 1988 frequenta la “Vidal Sassoon School of London”, ottenendo il diploma nel corso dei 9 mesi. La scuola dedide di premiare Natascia come miglior studente e le fa frequentare l'Advanced Course dove riceve il suo secondo diploma. Nel tempo dei nove mesi di studio a londra, Natascia trova lavoro presso il salone di Paul K. in Streatham Hill. In un futuro non troppo lontano Natascia crea nel frattempo quello che sarà poi.... una linea di gioielli ricamati su stoffa, in particolaqre Jeans, che sarà chiamate “I Gioielli del Mare” utilizzando Corallo, Madreperla, Perle di fiume, filo d'Argento, Perle, Cristalli e materiali di ogni genere. Le materie organiche sono I materiali preferiti da Natascia di cui si apprezza la preziosità per le loro origini e per la preziosità del lavoro. Il lavoro continua con materiali di recupero, la Moka si trasforma in un posacenere, ed altro ancora, il tutto è compreso nella linea “Il Trash diventa Chic” di cui la “Art Moka Express” ne è la regina. I utilizzando materiali quali specchietti, tessere di mosaici, bottoni e piccole monete lire italiane. I lavori che vedrete rappresentano più di ogni altra cosa la vita di questa artista...Curriculum VitaeNatascia Nanni was born on 15 December 1973 in the town of Meldola, in the province of Forlì (northem of Italy).In 1988-1989 she went to Vidal Sassoon school of London, where she achieved her diploma after nine months.For being the best student of her class Natascia was awarded a place on the Advanced Course where she received her second diploma.During the studies in London, Natascia worked for a mounth in Paul K Salon in Streatham Hill putting into the practice her hair styling skills.In May 1989 she returned in Italy and gained experience in Leondina Pozzatello's Salon in Lignano Sabbiadoro for two mounths.In January 1990 she started her collaboration with the stylist Alberto Bacchi, who belonged to the group " Set Seven "in Forlì.From 1991-1994 Natascia was responsible for the woman's section in Carlo Nanni's Salon " L'ARTISTA" in Meldola.In 1994 Natascia left for Hamburg for a three days, stage with the Stylist Christian Moller.In 1995 Natascia did a seasonal job as manager at Stylist Cristina in Lido di Savio (Italy). In 1997 Natascia started a rich cultural and artistic collaboration with Designer E.Scaglione and they founded the Artistic Movement " Ora pro nobis " which produced accessories and monumental jewels using traditional technique for individual and unique pieces.They produced 24 Monumental jewels, plus their accessories of which the following items were part:GLOVES, DRESSES, COATS, HATS, HAIR slides, etc......In december 1998 she presented monumental jewels, and their accessories at the preview of the " Orapronobis " Collection in Jovanotti's shop" MUFFA " prepared the setting for a living shop window in which two talented models, Claudia Miss and Jovanka attracted peoples curiosity andgave a dazzling interpretation of how these jewels look best.In the magazine " MODA IN " ( Oct / Dec n.109 ) the artist movement's photo appears with great success in Accessories - "La Nuit Americane "next to names like Jean Paul Gaultier, Gianni Versace, Casadei, Etro and Vivienne Westwood.In 1999 they were selected to take part in Alternative Fashion Week in London, where they came first in the show for best accessories.They then collaborated with the stylist Andrew MecKanzie presenting male accessories for the Fashion Show " Collezione Uomo "in Milan.In 2000 the artistic movement separated and conclused an important period.In May 2000 Natascia opens a hair stylist salon called " N N " in Forlì where she created an artistic ambient for her clients.In 2001 Natascia starts to work on what will become her new line "The Jewels of the Sea ".Jewels sewn onto material, in particular Denim, of which coral, pearls, silver, amber and crystals are just some of the materials which are used.Work continue with recycled materials, the Coffee Pot ( caffettiera Moka ) transformed into an ashtray adops the name " Trash becomes Chic " materials used are glass, mosaic cards, pendants, mother pearl and LIRA coins.Using the same technique she also dressed a Cube and Screen which takes the names " ART MOKA EXPRESS " and " MATERIA e LIRA ".In 2001 made the first " Guitar Strap Jewels " for the collection "The JEWELS of the SEA "The most elaborate articles in this collection are the two Guitar Straps.One dedicated to the Cuban Guitarist Pedro Mena and another to the famous American Musician Lenny Kravitz.Work is always in progress with many collection until today.SincerelyNatascia Nanni"Precious Craftwors"Contact informations:www.natasciananni.com - www.preciouscraftwork.comemail: [email protected] mob: +39 3474754774english speaking contact: (Kate Cartwright) +39 3338570982
