About Me
The father of Indiana Jones is a more reserved scholar than his son. Henry Jones Sr. is a professor of medieval history and is by his own son's account is the kind of teacher "the one that students hope they don't get." He married Anna and became a father in the year 1899, giving his son his name and always referring to him as "Junior". He is also an expert in the lore of the Holy Grail, devoting his life to collecting all the known clues surrounding the legendary chalice and where it may be found. After the death of Anna the father and son started to find themselves with less in common, often not speaking to each other for several days. When Indy discovers that his father has gone missing he rushes off to Venice to find his whereabouts. During their adventure together Indy and his Dad start to strengthen their bonds with each other. The elder Jones even comes to call his son "Indiana" at a moment when he needed to hear it the most.Just like his son's intense fear of snakes, so too Henry Jones Sr. has a fear of a particular animal: rats.
