About Me

This profile is currently under the management of Dean of Marshall College, Charles Stanforth, colleague and friend of Dr. Jones. Dr. Jones is currently out of the country. If you need to discuss anything with Dr. Jones, please leave a message on his desk or with me.
Thank you,
Professor Charles Stanforth
Dean of Marshall College

First of all, greetings to my new students here at Marshall College. Thanks for stopping by my office. If I am not here at the moment, you are welcome to leave me a note and I will get back to you when it's most convenient for me. My hours are posted on the office door if you're hoping to catch me (good luck with that). Now, kindly scram before you mess with the delicate balance of my office's organizational system.
A hearty salutations to my non-students. Let me introduce myself. Name's Henry Jones, but I prefer Indiana; Henry's my father's name. I recently moved from Fairfield, New York to the picturesque town of Bedford, Connecticut. I teach Archeology Theory here at Marshall College, the same subject I previously taught at Barnett in New York.
For those of you who are wondering, I am extremely well-seasoned in the field of Archeology. It's not simply a hobby; it's my entire life. I've done quite a bit of world traveling since my youth and I've been finding pieces of history every step of the way. I will admit that at one intensely care-free point of my life I saw my profession as the path to my dreams of fortune and glory. However, I quickly returned to my senses and now continue to hold true to my original belief that every artifact belongs in a museum, or (on occasion) where it was originally found.
I will not get deep into my exploits here, as I'm sure you would never believe them unless I told you the details in person. Even then, I'm sure you'd still raise your eyebrows at me. I'll simply say that if you ever find yourself tagging along with me for an adventure, hold on tight and do what I say. You can ask anyone who's ever come along with me; at least, the ones who listened to me, 'cause they're the ones still alive and kicking.
If you ever get wind of an artifact in need of handling by expert hands, or you're just looking for someone to show you how to really savor a trip to the ends of the Earth, don't ever hesitate to send me a message or give me a ring.
Your friend,
Indiana Jones

I'd like to meet:

With all the experiences I've had, I've been lucky enough to meet mostly everyone who I would ever want to. T. E. Lawrence, Puccini, Norman Rockwell, Teddy Roosevelt... I can't really ask for more. I'll just hope any further adventures allow me to encounter more historical figures of the present, future, and the past (hey, in Archeology, it happens!).

Music:

Don't really get a chance to listen to much, but my good friend Willie Scott can crank out a song like you wouldn't believe. I've got a 45 of her version of "Anything Goes" in my office if you'd ever care to take a listen.

Movies:

I've been known to enjoy the antics of good old Mickey Mouse when I get the chance.

Books:

In no particular order:

The Ideals of Greek Culture

Folk-tales of Salishan and Sahaptin tribes

Primitive Art

Journey to the Center of the Earth

Around the World in Eighty Days
