About Me

Hairstylist in Nashville, Tennessee and author of RECOVERING RAMONA: a novel about Claudia Nichols who is having a quarter-life crisis in Los Angeles and calls her estranged mother in a last attempt to make sense of her crumbling life. The mother and daughter take a road trip in Claudia's old Volvo named Ramona after her childhood heroine, Ramona Quimby. They unexpectedly make a detour into the strange city of Joshua Tree, where Ramona tragically disappears. Here they meet a cast of eccentric characters who catapult them into uncovering the painful secrets of their past, and Claudia discovers that it is not only Ramona she needs to recover, but more importantly, herself.

Release is slated for 2009, stay in touch and I'll keep you posted!

My Interests

reading anything i can get my hands on, watching movies, writing, going to hear friends play music if it's not too late because I am a dorky hermit most nights, hanging out with my husband Rann and my dog Audrey, pretending that I have my own Food Network show while I cook in my glorious kitchen and drink red wine

I'd like to meet:

readers and thinkers and old souls, Tom Waits, Billy Crudup and You
