About Me

Given that I've put world domination on the back burner for a while, (it is very cold out!)....what I am hopefully creating here on myspace is a visual journal of stuff I like to do. Usually in a tent,(But not always.....like I said its cold out this time of year) Sometimes on a scooter, occassionaly with a microphone in my hand, frequently at festivals and gatherings (smaller ones), but always with my eye's wide open and a passion for people and places. My camera is never too far away from my side, hence there's loads of my stuff in my pics section. Writer of sorts, singer with ska / punk outfit from Barnsley, BARMY SURPLUS.Music keeps my groove steady and my soul intact (ish!?)Festivals, scooter rallies and any other opportunity to get my tent out from under the stairs, to share a few beers with friends under the stars usually keeps the demons from kicking my head in throughout Summer months. It's all about people and places!

Jethros gig reviews - Dreadzone, The Plug Sheffield 14th March 08

The Plug is a fantastic venue in my humble opinion, it has an old school feel with flashes of contemporary ease...and before I begin to start sounding like some ruffle shirted, velvet jacketed uber de...

Jethros Gig Reviews - HALF MAN HALF BISCUIT

21st Feb 08 If the Leadmill is short and fat, then The Boardwalk in Sheffield is long and thin. A cozy little venue with bar staff that look like they want to work there (unlike The Leadmill see DKM's...

Jethro’s Gig Review’s DROPKICK MURPHY’S
