Scott Berendt - Don't Look Back Tour

About Me

Press Bio -
"Welcome to New World Music: It was written with Stings Grooves, Seals Vocals with Dave Matthews edge in mind and oh a little sprinkle of Peter Gabriel," Nick Carter, Milwaukee, Journal/Sentinel....

"He sings, drums, acts, writes, and produces his own CDs, and is one of the most sought out performers and drummers in the Midwest," Dave Lurhesen, Shepherd Express
Scott is a WAMI Award Winner from Wisconsin Music Industry for drumming and nominee for best artist and songwriter and has been a Grammy Voting Member for NARAS since 2002. In the last 5 years Scott and his bands have performed at, The Whiskey a Go Go, The House of Blues, Navy Pier and the Excalibur in LA & Chicago, the MGM in Vegas, Summerfest in Milwaukee, Taste of Minnesota, a Cruise Ship concert to Cozemel and a slew of other big events around the country.
He is widely known for his stage production with for example, to start the show, everyone is on drums as they build into the first song. The showmanship, and versatile range of talented multi tasking musicians and a line up of some of the best around. Solo or with a 4 or 8 piece band, Scott gets an edgy sound on vocals combined with an eclectic style of music, all its own, live in concert or on his 3 CDs "Albion Moon", "Hoping For The Sun" and "Don't Look Back".
As a drummer and a singer he has opened for Collective Soul, Eddie Money, Everclear, Ted Nugent, Pat Benatar, Cheap Trick, Vertical Horizon, Asia, The Bodeans and many, many more. Scott has performed and toured for the last 10 years with many other artists including, the late Steve Allen Quartet, Buddy Miles, Sould Patrol and now the popular rock band Bad Boy, where he gets to show his amazing drum chops. He has studied Jazz, Fusion, Swing/big band, Rock, Blues and Reggae...
****Article Review 2005 "Berendt hasn't lost his touch on Don't Look Back, his third CD and his first after disbanding of his last band, The Us Project. The singer/songwriter/drummer continues to craft solid world pop rock with a level of skill that has become sadly rare in our cut and paste, digitalized era…"
"He's the master of many genres; his musicianship and songwriting stands on the solid ground of hands-on skill," David Luhrssen, Shepherd Express, Milwaukee.
