Add to My Profile | More VideosTall...Dark...Handsome...The humble of Sexy & he don't know it multi-talented singer/songwriter/musician Ronin Ali has a gift he wants to give to you wrapped up in the spirit of music. His voice conjures melodic riffs & echo's scats of old school class with a modern day meditation of vocal liberation, with blessed hands that can evoke vibrations of positive energy with every bang of the drum, cress of percussion, and stroke of the bass he takes to make his audience feel as good as the smile that always exudes how passionate this brotha is about singing and becoming one with his instruments.Born and raised in Essex County (East Orange, Orange, Newark, Irvington), young Ronin Ali started catching ears at "The Newark Boys Chorus School" (86-88). He spent his high school years in Easton, PA where no one knew this brotha could sing, 'cause he would go straight home to hone his craft, soon to record his 1st album all by himself in his attic. After spending time over seas Ronin Ali built a strong following in his new hometown of Philadelphia working with so many extraordinary artist such as Lady Alma, Chris Genteel, Toni Blackman, opening up for Eryah Badu, Cheque Le Funke, Soul Soup, jazz great Mulgrew Miller, gaining the respect of Earth Wind & Fire. You can catch Ronin Ali rocking out the drum/percussion/bandleader with rocknroll singer/songwriter/guitarist GhettoSongBird! He's becoming that drummer that everyone's calling, as his skills are turning heads, check him out with rocker Ghettosongbird: Ghetto Songbird Rocks Philly
